What to say!

I haven't really felt I've had much to share lately.  So I've avoided blogging.  But at the same time, I have a need to share my thoughts from time to time.  Mostly my thoughts are of a spiritual nature, because I love Jesus. I am blessed to have met Jesus as a really young girl.  I am blessed each day to wake up and feel such a peace in my life.  My life isn't exciting or full of lots of adventure.  It's actually quite boring maybe to most people.  I stay home and help take care of my grandbabies mostly.  I have found in sacrificing my life and heart for something bigger than myself is where I have found tremendous peace.  Living and looking beyond myself hasn't come easy.  I thought very differently 3 1/2 years ago.  But after Jayden and Brooklyn's diagnosis, life changed, my perspective changed. Their lives have taught me so much about living today living in each moment of the day.  I thought life as a believer was about getting it right.  Doing and striving to please Jesus.  Working and living up to what I thought people wanted from me.  That way of living is an empty and hollow hole and it left me with a constant need for acceptance and applause.  But I'm learning and I'm so thankful that Jesus is already pleased with me.  I matter to God the way I am, the one who gave His life for me wants me to know it's not about being right, getting it right, but truly loving Him and resting in that love.  So I'm blessed even when life is hard.  Even when I'm doing the most mundane things.  He is there and I matter and so do you.

New International Version (NIV)
16 This is what the Lord says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
    ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
    and you will find rest for your souls.

Bracelets!

I have recently started making bracelets.  They are made on a black velvet ribbon, which is elastic so it is one size fits most.  I can make any tile into a bracelet.  Here is just a sampling of what I have.  Bracelets are $8 each.

I'm sorry but I won't be able to guarantee Christmas delivery after today.  I can still take orders.  But with the drying time that the tile needs and then shipping, it probably won't get to you by Christmas.  But thank you for your orders!  I'm overwhelmed with the response to these tiles.  I'm excited that I've been able to raise over $6000.00  for Jayden and Brooklyn.  Blessings to you at this Christmas season. Thank you!

Care for your scrabble tiles!

Thank you so much for all your support for Our Sweet Bee.  Whether you bought some tiles or sold some tiles, or helped me out in any way by just telling your friends, I am deeply thankful for your support.  I was just at the Zion's Art and Craft festival and it went very well.  If you saw me out there thank you for coming and showing your support.

I just want to share with you to be careful not to get your scrabble tile wet.  As much as I would like to say they are water proof.  They just don't do well when they've been wet.  So just take them off before you shower.  Also if they become cloudy, it's possible to add a coat of clear nail polish over them to bring back some of the luster.  Although, I haven't done it myself Ive heard it helps.  Thank you again.  I will post the next time I'm out in the area selling my scrabble tiles.
